Lilac syrup

Ingredients:


  • 60-70 gr lilac flowers
  • 750 g of sugar
  • 1 litre of water
  • 1 lemon


Steps:

Rinse the lilac branches with water. Let them dry.







Remove the flowers.



Boil the sugar with water until the syrup thickens.



Remove from fire.

Mix the lemon juice.

Add the lilac flowers. Do not mix.



Leave for 24 hours to infuse with a lid on top.

Remove the flowers and squeeze.

Put in sterilised bottles.

There you have a great taste, beautiful colour...the summer is coming :)
