Milk cream with orange flavor

Ingredients


  • 1 litre milk
  • peel from 2 oranges
  • 2 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3-4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3-4 egg yolks
  • sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon butter


Steps:

In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the cornstarch.
Put milk to a boil with the sugar and vanilla. Set aside the milk, and put orange peel and leave it for 15-20 minutes.
Mix a few tablespoons of milk (cooled) with egg yolks and cornstarch,
Pour the mixture into the milk and put it to boil. When it thickens add the butter and stir until it melts.
Chill and serve.
