Sausage in tomato sauce / Carnat in sos tomat

Ingredients


  • 1 fresh sausage
  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1-2 onions
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • thyme
  • herbs de Provence
  • 2 allspice berries
  • 1 canned red beans
  • Tomato juice

Steps:

Peel the sausage.
Cut the sausage in equal pieces. Fry the pieces on all sides in a pan, without oil.
Boil the potatoes.
Put a little vegetable oil in a wok. Add the onion and garlic. When they soften put 1/2 cup dry white wine or medium dry.
Add the tomato juice, thyme, allspice, herbs de Provence (to taste). Add the drained beans and potatoes (cut into large cubes).
Add the sausage.
Season with salt to taste and simmer 15-20 minutes.
Transfer into a deep tray. Put in oven until reduced.

  • 5 cartofi medii
  • 1-2 cepe
  • 2-3 catei de usturoi
  • cimbru
  • verdeturi de Provence
  • 2 boabe ienibahar
  • 1 conserva fasole rosie 
  • suc de rosii


Pasi:

Se scoate carnatul din mat.
Se face bucatele egale si se prajeste pe toate partile intr-o tigaie fara ulei.
Se fierb cartofii.
Intr-un wok sepune putin ulei a incins. Se adauga ceapa si usturoiul. Cand acestea se inmoaie se pune 1/2 pahar vin alb sec sau demisec.
Se adauga sucul de rosii, cimbrul, vedeturi de Provence si ienibaharul dupa gust. Se adauga fasolea scursa si cartofii taiati cuburi mari.
Se adauga si carnatul.
Se pune sare dupa gust si se lasa sa fiarba 15-20 de minute.
Se muta intr-o tava adanca si se baga la cuptor pana scade bine.
