–my great-grandmother recipe-
- 450 g flour
- 250 gr sugar
- 1 and 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves (crushed)
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 orange peel
Steps :
In a small pot, burn 150 g sugar .
Quench with one half glass of water.
Add the remained sugar. You will obtain a syrup.
Mix, in a bowl, flour with the resulting syrup.
Add the baking powder, cinnamon, cloves and orange peel. Finally add walnuts cut lengthwise .
Grease a baking tray cake and sprinkle with flour.
Bake at medium heat.
–reteta strabunicii mele–
Ingrediente:
- 450 gr faina
- 250 gr zahar
- 1 1/2 pahar apa
- 1 lingurita praf de copt
- 1 varf lingurita scortisoara
- 1 varf lingurita cuisoare pisate
- 1 pahar de nuca
- coaja de la 1 portocala
Pasi:
Se ard, intr-o cratita, 150 gr zahar.
Se stinge cu 1 pahar si jumatate de apa.
Se adauga zaharul ramas. Se obtine un sirop.
Se amesteca faina cu siropul rezultat, intr-un castron.
Se adauga praful de copt, scortisoara, cuisoarele si coaja de portocala. La final se adauga nucile taiate pe lung.
Se unge tava o tava de chec si se presara cu faina.
Se coace la foc potrivit.
